Illinois, NW and Nebraska out of the west?
I'll take it.
I mean that division stinks but it's nice to have the bottom of the barrell.
I always enjoy a chance to hit up Chicago -- maybe 10/28 at NW.....

I'm still eagerly anticipating heading down for their first trip to the Rose Bowl. Hope that however they to do things in 2024 it includes going away from divisions and getting to see every Big Ten team more frequently.

The Sept 9 game against Charlotte will be the primetime NBC game, kickoff at 7:30pm. Must have really been a lean week of Big Ten games for that one to get such a time slot.

I may have missed it (or forgotten about it), but they also moved the Virginia game to Friday night a few weeks ago.

No 9am kickoffs for at least the first 4 weeks of the season. I'll take it.

Do bars open at 9 am out there for Saturday kickoffs?

Some are open that hour on weekends in general, so yeah you can find a watering hole for those early games. I don't prefer kickoffs that early because I take my dogs out for a walk weekend mornings, and I either have to get up at like 6 or 7 to be home in time or DVR games and catch up (which is usually how I do it).

McMurphy reported today that MD will have back-to-back games airing on Peacock exclusively. The first is the 10/7 game at OSU starting at 3:30pm (kind of surprising an OSU game ended up exclusively on a streamer) and then the 10/4 matchup at home with Illinois kicking off at noon.

Towson W
Charlotte W
UVA W
at Sparty L
Indiana W
at OSU L
Illinois W
at NW W
Penn State L
at Nebraska L
Michigan L
at Rutgers W
7-5
The three games that this season rests on are at MSU home Illinois and at Nebraska -- if they could somehow go 3-0 there and end up 9-3 that would be progress.

For me, UVA, @ Michigan State, Indiana, Illinois, @ NW, Penn State, @ Nebraska, @ Rutgers are all swing games.
UVA, I think MD would be expected to win 70% of the time.. (Has gone up for me based on what I've read about their offense.)
@ MSU, 49%
Indiana, 60%
Illinois, 55%
@NW, 60%
Penn State, 35%
@Nebraska, 45%
Rutgers, 60%
Lots of 7-5 predictions out there. Seems reasonable.
8-4 would be nice, and probably have them Top 25.
9-3 would be fantastic.
Need the starting lines to hold up.

I think 8-4. Anything less than 7-5 though, would be very disappointed unless there are major injuries.

Based on what I’ve seen so far tonight, the Terps shouldn’t have too tough a time with Sparty this season.

Based on what I’ve seen so far tonight, the Terps shouldn’t have too tough a time with Sparty this season.
Seems someone at MSU went into the locker room at halftime and alerted the Spartans that the season has begun, so maybe not a cakewalk for the Terps after all.
