Can this team average 80+ppg?
They won't even come close to that mark if they can't shoot the three.

No, I think the offense will struggle a bit but could be wrong.

In his post-game press conference, Willard said he wasn't happy with how his team has been finishing games.
"I'll be honest with you, I'm really not thrilled with it. We should have had a 34-point win on Thursday. We should have had at least a 35-point win today. I don't like the way we ended the game. If we don't start ending them better, then they're not going to get the opportunity. Because stats matter. All of a sudden your KenPom goes down. Your NET goes down. The last four minutes are just as important as the first four minutes. These guys, they do work hard, and they are good players. There's no reason to blow a 34-point lead in the last four minutes of the game. So there comes a responsibility when you step on the court. You've got to do what you're supposed to do."

Shocked Cornish didn't enter a single game last year. I know he was injured for a bit, but looks like he can play a little.
Excited for Willard's future.
I am not sure, we ever heard what the injury was, but he looks like a kid, who can play his way into a bigger role as the season progresses.

I mean, doesn't seem totally uncommon for this to happen when you're emptying your bench in huge early season blow outs.
The guys who are playing at the end of these games are likely to see very few minutes once the real games begin.
I think he wants to see even the back end of the bench guys stick to the system, which may be tough for them to do, but he is setting the system in place.
In a sort of related thought, it used to be when a coach whose team had a big lead would empty his bench the losing team, would stay in a half court offense and defense. Now the losing team seems to press as soon as the other teams best players are off the floor.
