I don’t think they’re going to win in Madison, unfortunately. Just not quite there yet IMO. But they’re capable of it at the same time. Hope they bring their A game, and see what happens.

Taulia healthy and they can do it. This Wisconsin team isn’t anything special.

We’ll see. The lines still aren’t Big Ten level. Have seen that these past 3 weeks especially.

Yup. Getting owned in the lines is just something we will have to deal with until we recruit better.

The upper Midwest seems to have an unlimited supply of 330 pound white guys named “Cade” which makes the task tough.

Seems crazy that this is Maryland's 9th year in the Big Ten and they have only played the Badgers 3 times.  Even more crazy that they haven't even played them in 5 years (maybe they lost a game to Covid??).   Seems like a college student should play every team in the conference at least once while they are in school.

Last year was the first time they ever played at Illinois, the Big Ten West opponents seem pretty random

They were scheduled to play them at home in 2020 before COVID shortened that season.

The TV networks are exercising the 6-day hold option on this game, so we won't know until Saturday night what time/network it'll be on.

No, it'll definitely be a Saturday game. Also pretty sure the Big Ten doesn't do night games in November (though I think that'll change with the new TV deal next year). It'll either be at noon or 3:30pm ET on Saturday.

I know it'll be Saturday, but did you mean to say that we'd find out the game time sometime late Friday night vs. Saturday night?

No, he meant we'd find out this Sat. 10/29, when MD plays 11/5.

Ah, my bad. They will announce Saturday night. The networks have this option occasionally so they can see how things go on Saturday before deciding who gets what games and when. There are no BigTen games that week that stand out as very attractive right now....all the good teams play bad teams. This might end up being the best matchup of the day. Ohio State at Northwestern is already announced for noon on ABC, but everything else is on hold.

Boo, bye weeks suck. That's what had me screwed up here. Thanks Chris, sorry about that Mike.
