ESPN: Head coaches directly responsible

I know some will say head coaches, can't be in all places at all times, but I think this is a good move. The buck has to stop somewhere, and ultimately the head coach is responsible for the whole program.

I wish they would do something about these coaches that jump from school-to-school while they're still under contract. Now that's something I'd be 100% in favor of.

Ehh...Nothing stops the schools from firing them while they're still "under contract."

So you would not allow coaches to resign in the middle of their contract?, good luck with that one. They do have buy-outs for this reason. Not saying it's the perfect solution, but let's be a bit realistic here.I wish they would do something about these coaches that jump from school-to-school while they're still under contract. That is why I have such disdain for the NCAA as a governing body. They come down hard on a kid like Alex Lenn or Dez Wells then stand idly by and watch as some one like Cheating John Calipari manipulates the system.

Some people are just better at getting away with this stuff than others. After all, how many crimes go unresolved? You can't every violation, no matter what system they have. Ask Bruce Pearl, Kelvin Sampson, or Jim Tressel if they think the NCAA is too lenient?That would be the best way to handle some of the crap that these guys pull but it is never going to happen.
