If you want to spread the vote around because you want to spread the vote around, ok, but no team has been more surprising than the Orioles.  As noted, they had the pre-season projection around an optimistic 62 wins coming off a 52 win season with no (external, pre-season) additions.  They were easily the 30th Team in the pre-season Power rankings.

Cleveland has been surprisingly good finishing with the Central crown and having a top 8-10 (MLB) win total, but they were still a competitive team if they can figure out some offense.

There's a lot of disappointing teams.  Certainly some intentionally non-competitive teams....but the Tigers and Marlins were supposed to be making that next step, the Angels have 2 MVPs and tried to add pitching, the WhiteSox are one of those rebuilding darling teams, Rangers spending big money to try and get competitive, Giants coming off 107 wins, the RedSox (5th behind the Orioles) and Twins (under .500) both were trying to compete...

...but the Nationals have to be the most disappointing team.  They are a slightly less awful version of the 2018 Orioles.

How dare you insult Lyles and Chirinos and Odor like this!

I know you're joking, but someone wanted to say that that wouldn't be.

In fairness to those players, I appreciate some of the things we've heard about them and their contributions this season - those things will need to be replaced.  Those contributions are more in line with my perspective on Winning Baseball, but they would still lack the statistical cache to move the projected needle.

It’s really hard not to say the Angels are the most disappointing team. They’ve been a sad sack of dirt the past decade (or however long Mike Trout’s played in relative anonymity.

They certainly get the decade award.  Example #1 of why winning is more than Talent.
