Third base.

I've always thought that you run if it's to SS or 2B. Hold if it's to Pitcher, 1B or 3B. Some wiggle room depending on how hard it's hit, exact positioning, and how fast the runner is.

Again, didnt see it but assuming the Inf was in, If so, as we discussed one other time, if Devers is even with the bag and not ranging to his left then he might be able to beat the runner tsking a lead back to the bag anyway.

I've never seen or heard of that happening, but it's possible.

The O's have run into more outs at home this year, and just late this year, than I ever remember before. Maybe it's fuzzy memory or just a quirky string of coincidences, but my lean is bad strategy and/or bad judgement from the runners.

That’s his first error?

He charged a short hop and it bounces off his glove heel. “Bad,” I don’t know, maybe. It happens.

The amount of outs at the plate on groundballs to the left side late this season has been infuriating. Why are they constantly running in that situation?

It's been crazy. I don't get it either. The numbers can't possibly say it's been working.

No but youve seen a 3b throw it home and get the runner at the plate and or get him in a rundown

60 pitches thru 2 for Bradish.  Yikes.  Only 2-1 Boston, though.

They ruled that a git and it was IMO.  106 MPH right down the line.

Singleton hit 35 one year.  Not sure if any higher by others.
