I'll take 2-2 in this series. The doubleheader makes it tough.

That would leave us 2 1/2 back of them with 6 more games head to head. Have to go 4-2 and still short 1/2 game. So no matter how you slice it then we either have to go 5-1 head to head or get help from others. Splitting this certainly doesn't kill us off but man I don't like our chances if we don't make up ground on this homestand.

I was looking at 6-4 in these 10 games. I think our schedule overall is easier than theirs and we'll make up games elsewhere. I hate losing a game to them yesterday (damn Pirates) but I think we split here and win the next 2 series against them.

Fwiw I follow a guy named Kevin Roth on twitter who is a meteorologist specializing in DFS (i.e. don’t use this pitcher because it might rain) and he says he expects both games to be played today with just a small possibility of a delay.
