Well, I guess maybe he could be something as a LOOGY. Maybe he gets a ST invite to compete for that role?
I think the point made at the end of Camden Depot's article is valid. Even if he's filler, it continues our foray into the international market. If we're going to sign a soft tossing 35 year old lefty, I'd rather something like this that has a chance to have some sort of secondary effect on the franchise than just your run of the mill, played for 9 MLB teams sort of guy.
