In the last 15 games we have scored 3 runs or fewer 9 times, and 5 or more just 4 times. "Should have" might not apply given the near team- wide slump right now

And with last year's wretched pitching staff, they very well could have lost 10-15 in a row. You always have a chance with quality pitching.

I was at the game yesterday. There was a pretty good turnout of O's fans, as evidenced during the National Anthem. We took our dog, and all the dog-centric activity wore her out, so we weren't there for the last inning. But I was home in time to watch it. Here's the thing. As the top of the 9th was unfolding, I had every confidence they were going to tie it, or take the lead. I can't remember the last time I felt that way about the O's. It wasn't "I hope they can do it" or "I think they can do it", it was "I wonder how it's going to happen".

Sucks to have Verlander taken out of game early and still lose despite several scoring opportunities. Still. Taking 2/3 from them is no small feat. Just being greedy.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

They tried. Orioles magic is back!! What’s the stadium experience like? I’ve wanted to check that one out since it opened.

It felt like the door was open for us to get the sweep, but that bull pen is top shelf and we could not break through.

I felt like we might get the big hit in the 9th, and they battled but no luck.

It was my first time there, and we had to stay in the "dog area", which ran along the LF stretch of the concourse. So I didn't see much. I was in section 106, which is just off from the Crawford boxes. Maybe it's because I didn't get to walk around the whole ballpark, but it was surprisingly usual. It's a small ballpark. The roof was closed, since it was such a hot day. Depending on the parks you've already been to, I wouldn't put this one at the top of your "must see" list. It's much more impressive looking on TV, than in person.

As a side note, I'm thinking about going up to Dallas before the end of the season, and see their joke of a new ballpark. I really tried to get up there when the O's were in town, but I couldn't make it happen. Their attendance is so bad, I could buy a couple seats and practically have a whole section to myself.
