Bradish said he switched to the first base side of the rubber and he is working on things behind the scenes.

As a coach you allow the players to take all the credit. I mean they are the ones going out and performing every day but damn these guys deserve props. You hear the stories like the above and it shows up  on the field too. Just go down the list. Voth, Perez, Bautista, Kremer, Mateo, Urias, Tate.

Awesome game from Bradish today...the O's were 1 of 4 teams to have not had an 8+ inning start all season...until today! Well done!

They arent going away. If thats been your fear or expectation it isnt happening. I say that confidently. Will have a winning season unless some  rash of injuries or something like that

Eight innings from a starter! Today that's practically Iron Man McGinnity territory.

Great win. Houston doesn't have the same urgency as Baltimore at the moment, so it'd be wise for the O's to step on their neck this weekend.

The Astros are currently only two up on the Yankees in the loss column. If the Yankees beat Oakland tonight, the gap between they and the Astros will narrow to 2 1/2 games.

Who's feeling a little greedy right now? I'm not satisfied with avoiding a sweep; now I want to win the series in Houston. And if we win tomorrow, I won't be happy with just winning the series; I'll want a sweep.

Still, not even close to the same urgency. It's August.

Hydes presser last night was interesting.  he said they really considered letting Bradish go back out for the 9th.    He also said he really did not have a lot of options in the pen. We all knew Felix was a no last night, but he said he really did not want to use Tate or Baker.

His last statement caught me though, He said most of the guys he wanted to use were limited or not available.

This was only the second game I've been able to watch this season. I'm guessing this isn't the usual Bradish? The Houston announcers mentioned that he has only ever gotten into the 6th inning, over his whole career. But he was on point last night. He jut looked comfortable and relaxed.

Good news! I saw a dog today.

He only has like 14 career starts but it wasn’t his first great one. Also struck out 11 Cardinals in St Louis over 7 innings in May.

What did they say was the adjustment Bradish has been working on? Standing on a different spot on the rubber?

Wasn't that what Arrieta changed too?

Yeah similar.

Bradish said he switch from the third base side of the rubber to the first base side. He also changed his release point.

The similarities are striking. Dynamite stuff with an adjustment necessary to make the most of it. Let's hope for an Arrieta-ish result.
