Hah. Did you not watch any of the past 4 years? You can do a lot worse. Matt Harvey and Jorge Lopez started 1/3 of the games just last year with an ERA over 6.
By making a minimal effort you can probably do just as well. But you've gotta sign someone similar or better. Can't just fill from depth. And then you still need another addition on top of that, maybe two depending on how Bradish, Wells, and Kremer finish the season, but one is probably fine.
