Damn. This one is a little extra frustrating.
We had tickets for this original game. Traded them in for the 30th Anniversary game instead. Silver lining.

Krehbiel pitched yesterday (though only 3 batters) and now being asked to pitch a part of a third inning today. Seems like a lot.
Of course scoring 0 makes everything tough.

I was yelling at the screen that Hyde should pinch run Phillips for Mountcastle. I bet he would have tied the game, and the runner would have been safe at first. Hyde didn't want to lose Mountcastle's bat if we tied it, but you have to play to tie the game like it's the ninth innnig there.

I mean, if/when the O's fall short of the postseason, everyone will point to their horrid start (and won't be wrong), but losing to teams 18 games below .500 is a good additional paragraph for bonus points.
