Nice job by Baker.
Need a little Oriole Magic.

So the O's 3B and RF both fail in clutch situations. Anybody better in the minors?
DJ Stewart and Cadyn Grenier?

I mean, if/when the O's fall short of the postseason, everyone will point to their horrid start (and won't be wrong), but losing to teams 18 games below .500 is a good additional paragraph for bonus points.
Every play off team has losses like that on their record. It is not football, teams lose to worse teams in baseball.

I hate the sac attempt there. Odor popped it up, and I would rather have him swing the bat.

Mateo with a base hit and the Orioles have runners on 1st and second.

Good grief. Odor's useful only when he uppercuts into a mistake pitch. Bunting? Woof.

Forgot about Gunnar. LOL. Yeah. Call him up too.
No sooner than Tuesday for him and Westburg. Stowers should be up three weeks ago.

Three times today we made the final out on the base paths. Hays, in particular, was atrocious. Not just the final play of the game, but not advancing to third on Mateo's hit. How can a guy with that kind of speed not go from first to third on a hit to right?

That's what I thought too but in looking at the replay from behind the plate he had to almost stop half way to second to make sure it fell in for a hit.

He had a good day, getting ready to pitch in AA/AAA in 2024.
