I'm about to listen to Simmons podcast about NBA Over/Unders..Anyway, before I do, and if we have anybody who likes to gamble a bit, I LOVE a few O/U that I'm looking at...Detroit Pistons OVER 32.5 wins..I think this is an absolute lock! Also, UNDER 33 Phoenix Suns, OVER 36.5 Golden State Warriors, and OVER 43 Atlanta Hawks.

Just wanted to share this with anyone who might enjoy these as much as I do.

Detroit... OVER. Eastern Conference is weak.
Phoenix... UNDER. Michael Beasley has to be one of their top scoring options. Nuff said.
Golden State... WAY OVER. I could see this team surprising everybody and possibly even making the playoffs. They lack a real star.
Hawks... UNDER.

I agree with PHX Under, ATL and GSW Over, but am not so sure about the Pistons, but I haven't really looked into them much as of yet.

The main worry with the Warriors though is Curry's ankle problems.

Good stuff, fellas..I think that most people will think like Dave, and have Atlanta UNDER, but I see them with 46-48 wins, and 42 is too low. They lose Johnson & Marvin Williams, but get Horford back, and added two great shooters in Morrow & Korver, which were underrated pickups to me.

I hear you, Web on the Warriors injuries, Bogut too. They appear to be much deeper than they've been in the past. We'll see.

Check in on Detroit, very curious on your thoughts.

Golden State's injury issues give me slight pause on taking the over. But if they do stay reasonably healthy, I think they could be a 7 or 8 playoff seed. I think Atlanta is an over too.

Why so optimistic about Detroit?

Also, think GS will stay healthy? Bogut and Curry both injury question marks IMO.

The Warriors' health is certainly a concern, but the West is wide open as far as the last couple playoff spots, IMO. Dallas, Golden State, Minnesota, Utah and even New Orleans should all be in the mix for the 7/8 seeds.

I was really excited about watching Minnesota but Love and Rubio being injured to start the season may put them in a hole that will be tough to get out of.

Yeah, they may already be in a hole by the time those two get back. And as I've mentioned, I see no way Brandon Roy makes it through an 82-game season. There's some nice talent on their roster, but health is too big a question mark for me to think they're a sure playoff team. But I do think they'll be somewhere in the mix towards the end of the season.

Feeling good about most of these so far...Pistons have picked it up a little of late, and that was my biggest play, but it's early. Phoenix appears to be one that looks like an early loser for now..

These things too often get forgotten, I think it's always fun to look at preseason predictions after the season.

Yea, you're right. I did ok, though Detroit was my biggest play and that was a loser..Also note that the Wizards did go OVER the 28.5 wins by a half.
