This team does not give one tiny F about what is "supposed" to happen.

Too bad Elias didn't see it this way. I did and that's why I'm pissed but I'm trying to get over it. You have to be from Bmore to understand and I am born and raised.

Need to get 1 of the next 2

Absolutely.

The Orioles need to win as many of these series with the AL East clubs as possible.

Open 40 man spot likely gets filled today. Likely Stowers but how exciting would Gunnar be?

Gunnar would be exciting. Not holding my breath. Stowers would be perfectly fine.

I was surprised to see Stowers has been playing a ton of CF. Bowie has a CF that could move up to Norfolk...probably too soon.

Hudson Haskin quietly been hitting great for over a month, he could go to AAA.

Woke up this morning with that thought. What if Gunnar is our David Price? Let's go win a World Series and shock the world, lol. How's Grayson doing for that matter?

I just saw that Manny came up 10 years ago today. Gunnar could be that same shot in the arm.

In 2012 we were 60-51, 9 game over, 4.5 out in the AL East, and one of three teams tied for the two WC spots.

Today of course it's 57-52, 5 games over, 13.5 out in the East, 1 game out of the WC.

There is a possibility that the 40 man addition may disappoint.

Matt Harvey.

Voth goes to the pen.

No way Harvey goes to the rotation over Voth.  He's been bad in Norfolk.  That'd be malpractice.

See: Brett Phillips and his .475 OPS over Stowers, or anyone really.

Phillips at least has a recent track record of being good enough for a bench spot.

Harvey has a recent track record of being too bad for a roster spot on a competitive team.

Sure, but he stinks this year and that isn’t changing - he’s played in 4 of his first 5 games here, started 3 of them.

Phillips at least has some positive qualities (speed and defense) and was passable last year.

Harvey hasn't even been mediocre since 2018 and doesn't even eat innings.

From a pure output on a baseball field perspective, I don’t see the difference. But okay, fair points.

Wow, that set you off.  I was not saying that is what I think should happen, but might happen.  The bull pen,  is tiring and is a key man down.  Voth could give them some length.

I do not see any BP options in Norfolk, except for maybe Baumann..

Phillips's splits against LHP are not pretty.  0 for 34 with 1 walk and 18 strikeouts this year.

The roster spots for Phillips and Nevin could be upgraded pretty easily.

It sucks that MLB in its wisdom has decided to limit how many pitchers a team can have on the 26.

Elias said the pitching here is producing when asked about Harvey. I dont think you have to worry about that being the move. They dont need to add anyone internally anyway or at all.

The Phillips hate needs to stop. With Hays back he may start once a week

It was and remains fully justified. Sorry that Elias criticism bothers you so much.
