I rescind my earlier argument that Phillips is the 26th man that is barely going to play. Get Stowers up.

The O's are now 31-20 at home this season, marking their best record in the first 51 games of a season at Oriole Park since going 37-14 in 2016...The Orioles have won 14 of their last 17 games at Oriole Park...The 31 home wins are tied for the fifth-most in the AL and tied for ninth-most in MLB...Baltimore recorded MLB-lows for home wins in 2021 (27) and 2018 (28), and had the second-fewest home wins in MLB in 2019 (25).
STARTING TO AD UP: Adley Rutschman has drawn 32 walks in his first 60 career games, the third-most in Orioles history (since 1954) trailing Curt Blefary (37, 1965) and Glenn Gulliver (39, 1982-83)...Rutschman has reached base safely at least twice in 14 of his last 15 games...He reached base safely multiple times in nine consecutive games from July 17-30, the longest streak by a rookie in Orioles history, surpassing the record of eight games set by Boog Powell in 1962...It was the longest streak by a rookie since St. Louis' Tommy Edman reached base safely multiple times in 10 straight games in 2019...According to the Elias Sports Bureau, it was tied for the longest streak by a rookie catcher since 1958, the first season there was an official rookie rule in MLB; other rookie catchers to reach base safely multiple times in nine straight games include Minnesota's Butch Wynegar in 1976 and New York-AL's Thurman Munson in 1970...Rutschman became the only primary catcher since 1900 to record 20+ doubles in his first 57 career games and only the third primary catcher to record 28+ extra-base hits in his first 57 career games, joining Boston's Carlton Fisk and Chicago-NL's Geovany Soto, per the Elias Sports Bureau...Rutschman is slashing .342/.495/.562 (25-for-73) with 10 doubles, two homers, 19 runs scored, nine RBI, 21 walks, and two HBP in 24 games since July 6; his .495 on- base percentage leads the AL and is second in MLB during that time.
Watkins made four July starts this year, going 2-0 with a 2.35 ERA (6 ER/23.0 IP)...After making his MLB debut on July 2, 2021 at Los Angeles-AL, Watkins started his career with a 3.10 ERA (7 ER/20.1 IP) in July 2021, finishing with a 2-1 record...He holds a career 2.70 July ERA (13 ER/43.1 IP) in nine appearances (eight starts).

The ball finds Odor at 3rd base on the first hitter, He handled it smoothly, and got a good laugh out of it.
