ALE - Yankees +10.5
ALC - Twins +2 (Guardians and White Sox both 2 back - Twins with the 20th most difficult SOS remaining)
ALW - Astros +12.5
WC1 - Jays +2.5 (9th most difficult SOS remaining)
WC2 - Rays +.5 (2nd most difficult SOS remaining)
WC3 - Mariners 57-50 +1.5 (30th most difficult SOS remaining)
O’s 55-51 -1.5 (6th most difficult SOS remaining)
Guardians 54-52 -2.5 (23rd most difficult SOS remaining)
White Sox 54-52 -2.5 (27th most difficult SOS remaining)
Red Sox 54-54 -3.5 (4th most difficult SOS remaining)
8 teams vying for 2 spots (3 WC + the AL Central).
This thread will focus on the O’s chase, but all comments welcome. Although I’m going to keep my Phillips and Elias rants elsewhere. We need to bring the good vibes in this thread.

Tl;dr? O’s are 1 game out of a wild card spot!!
If the Jays do indeed lose, the O’s will be just 3 behind them for the top WC spot.

TB, Chicago and Boston all lost tonight. Seattle won their first game of a doubleheader against LAA. Game 2 underway now. Toronto losing late to the Twins. Cleveland beat the Astros.

Keep beating up on the bad teams and play the good ones even. This team has become dominant at home and that really works in their favor with more games left at home than on the road. The schedule is about to get tougher but I think this team is gonna hang in there.

Thirty two of the last 57 games are against the AL East. Pitching and defense have keyed this run, and both are going to have continue to do so as we head into the final third of the season.

6-3 against the "bad" teams is exactly what they had to do. Now things get turned up a couple of notches with Toronto.
Although I never wish for anyone to get hurt, I did see where Toronto placed George Springer on the IL today with elbow inflammation. At least that's one guy we won't have to contend with this week.

Guess we’re Yankees fans the next 3 days. Only team in action tonight or relevance to the Orioles is Seattle. O’s did their part. The Yankees can help them out.
Gonna watch this one and sip some beers. Going to the beach tomorrow. Off all week. Don’t email me.

8/8: Orioles win. Mariners lose. Blue Jays lose.
O's 1 game back of Seattle for 6th seed. 3 games back of Toronto for 4th seed.

We are approaching mid August and I've barely paid any time/attention to the Ravens as all of my attention is on the O's and what's going on with the out of town scoreboard.
