Baltimore has won 16 of their last 21 games, 21 of the last 31, 24 of the last 36, 27 of the last 41, 31 of the last 51, and 37 of the last 62...Entering today's games, the O's .659 winning percentage (27-14) since June 11 is the second-best in the AL and the fourth-best in MLB over that time (see chart at right)...The team had a 10-game winning streak from July 3-13, tied for the fifth-longest in a single season in O's history (since 1954) and the longest since the team won 13 in a row from September 7-22, 1999.
The Baltimore bullpen owns a 2.99 ERA (136 ER/410.0 IP) through their first 100 games of the year, the third-lowest bullpen ERA in MLB (see chart at right)...Last year, O'srelievers finished the season with a 5.68 ERA (421 ER/666.2 IP), the worst in MLB...In the month of July, the Orioles 'pen leads MLB with a 2.36 ERA (24 ER/91.1 IP) in 23 games...O's relievers rank second with 110 strikeouts this month, while their 26 walks allowed are the fewest in the majors, giving them an MLB-leading 4.23 K/BB ratio in July...The Baltimore bullpen has worked 11 scoreless outings this month (39.1 IP), in which the Orioles have gone 11-0.
