Trade Mancini, acquire a pitcher. Call up Stowers. See what happens.

I can’t endorse ripping the heart of this team out of their chest right now. Whether it makes sense or not.

Beating the Rays when they started one of the best SP in MLB this year is what you call a statement win.

Yes, Shane McClanahan was dominant outside the two HR he gave up, but that doesn’t matter. The moment he was pulled from the game the O’s took the Rays to the woodshed.

It was reminiscent of a certain team that pulled a certain SP who was dominating Game 7 of the WS….

Completely agree. I’d probably trade Tate while his value is highest too. Our acquisitions can be promotions from AAA.

The BP is the heart of the team.  I doubt we get what Tate is worth to this team.

We are good

We are certainly in the neighborhood!

And we are no longer last in the AL East.

Rutschman is the heart of this team imo. Everything changed when he got his feet under him.

I honestly don't care about the playoffs this year. I want the young guys to experience winning culture. If the playoffs happen as a byproduct, so much the better.

Definitely not a good pitching matchup but this team keeps finding ways to surprise us. Maybe we can keep it close and win late against the bullpen.

This guy's a genius. 😀

Unless there’s a deal on the table to move Mancini say…for an arm the team thinks it can develop into something special, I agree with you. Rule 5 guys wind up making a difference for their new teams every year anyway…

This is what I’ve been saying to anyone who will listen (my poor wife).

You can tell its pissing the Rays off that they arent shitting all over the Os anymore. Im here for it. Lets go.

Should be more pissed at themselves for pulling their starter.  I thought he'd go at least 8.

81 pitches on 12 days rest. I definitely get trusting the bullpen in many cases, but this is a leading Cy candidate who was cruising, retired 10 straight. I’ll take it.

Yeah you gotta laugh that he gets pulled and reliever immediately gives up hit and then 2-run homer.

He’s now at 117 innings after last night, he’s 25 and his career high is 123 innings last year and in 2019 after not pitching except for the playoffs in 2020.

Facts have no place in my hot takes.  :D

With 2+ months left in baseball are they planning on shutting down the Cy Young leader?
