There were so many good moments last night.  The comeback, against one of the 2 or 3 best pitchers in the AL, the clutch hits by Cedric,   Adley Mateo Urias etc,  The defense by the Oriole infield and the BP, from Baker to Perez to Bautista and then Jorge.  The Yankees are the best team in the game but the Orioles have  played them tough.  For right now, that is enough.

At this point its unfair to think their play has been fluky. They are .500  through 94 games.Their Pythagorean says they are 2 under. We know they've been well over .500 for what a month and a half now. THey are competing and I dont think anyone should expect that to stop. Is another 5 or 6 game losing streak on the horizion. QUite possibly. Happens to good teams. But the days of being bludgeoned and not competing are gone.
