First 20 minutes were a hard watch, but enjoying after the first three episodes.

Feels nice to have a show about a chef that isn’t douche-chill inducing and didn’t take the Grey’s Anatomy or one of the fifty medical or police or lawyer shows and just stick that formula in a kitchen.
I can also really appreciate the sense of place in this show. You can tell it’s set in Chicago and the characters are legitimately from there. I don’t know if I have seen that done on this level since The Wire.

Just finished it out.
One of the best shows of the decade.
The final scene of the last episode broke me.
