23.1 consecutive scoreless from Kremer was pretty solid. Hope he can shake it off and start a new streak next time out.

Easy to say after the fact, but maybe Hyde left him in a bit too long - hot and lots of pitches. Next outing will tell us a lot I think.

I agree he looked gassed there.

He was definitely asked to do too much there but at least it shows him Hyde had confidence in him. (Easy to say after we came back and won haha.)

Hyde said, he was trying to get him through 5.  He also said it was a "learning experience".  The way he said it, I took it that he meant for himself.

Kremer was clearly done.

Given that today is a BP game, maybe he was trying to limit as much as he could bull pen wise.

It kind of got lost, with the Adley clutch double and Odor and Mateo heroics in the 10th, but Brian Baker was big yesterday.

When he relies on the 95-98 MPH fastball, he is much better.  He made it possible for the Orioles to win the game yesterday.

I think it’s worthwhile for a starter to learn how to pitch when he’s tired and stuff is running out. Sometimes for whatever reason the team needs you to get through one more batter or two and you probably can’t really simulate that feeling without doing it.

Yea I agree, but I also think Hyde may have learned a little about managing Kremer.  In fairness, I did not think Kremer had his best stuff yesterday, but he hung in, and just ran out of gas in the 5th.
