Next week. Next week. This week was MLK Jr Day week.
Any late breaking news on when John is bringing Dan and everyone in to the warehouse to review the financials?

Just think of it as a John Harbaugh injury update. The answer will always be "next week."
After the bye.

Just like “you’ll have to ask the doctors about that one,” (who never ever are available to the media).Just think of it as a John Harbaugh injury update. The answer will always be "next week."
“You’ll have to ask the accountants about that.”

Had he spent 5 M on a relief pitcher they would have had more interest.
I spent a minute watching that press conference and it should be noted they didn't contribute 5M. They made a commitment to contributing 5M over time. They didn't define that but "left it up to" CollegeBound although said it could be something like 1M per year or 200k one year....
A lot of the words they use here seem pretty reasonable actually (not the latter part of the Q&A which seems like it was edited out/shorter)...but I think you could argue there's 3 decades of actions (on inactions) that don't match the reasonable words here....so that makes this feel like another pedestal event to try and market John Angelos.

Oh they're sharing financials with us. Just not for the Orioles.

I'd like to believe at this point maybe MLB is concerned this is a repeat of Frank McCourt, that the Angelos' are nearly broke and draining money from the Orioles while they fight each other over a dwindling fortune, and decides to step in and force a sale. But that's very likely wishful thinking.

Can the state of Maryland just pony up the funds to pay these people off and get them out of here?
Use our tax money for good for once!

Georgia wants/wanted to sell now. John wants to wait until the capital gain hit drops significantly. The whole thing is a disgusting statement on their family dynamics...
Georgia wanted to sell in 2020. Damn to think we could have already been done with this circus show.

Nobody in the Angelos family wants to sell the team.

Nobody in the Angelos family wants to sell the team.
In order to prop up the value, sure. But I don’t believe that for a second.

Why would Georgia want a baseball team that she doesn't seem to have anything to do with? Wouldn't she rather have a billion dollars? It makes sense if she just wants to just be done. Or does she just want a toy for John so he feels important?
