There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

At the stadium, haven’t announced a start time yet. Given there’s another band at 8:30 right after this one clears up at about 8’ish, I could also see this one getting called. Only reason it may not is due to Chicago not being scheduled here again this year.
Off day for us tomorrow. Not sure about CHi but if they are due off then they would stay and make it up tomorrow. Both teams would prefer to play tonight if we can get it in

O’s begin a 4 game series against the Royals tomorrow in KC.

My bad thought we were off. Neither team will make playoffs so if it is rained out both teams probably just play 161

Game postponed - makeup is 8/18 @ 3:05 PM.
Works out well for both teams. O's have an early start on the 17th in Toronto followed by a weekend series at home. Cubs are in DC the day before then head home.

I wonder how long they would have waIted if that had not been the case.

They told the players about 20 minutes before they announced it to the fans. A few guys came out to collect the stuff from the bullpens. Guess they drew straws. It was Bautista and Tate for the O’s - it was a ton of crap.
