Vader pwning the 3rd sister in a duel was pretty cool.

I was becoming a little disappointed with this series, but Ep 5 was pretty good. Doesn’t feel like they can really do it all justice in one last ~45 minute episode. Perhaps the rumors of another season are true.

Finale was pretty good, I would give it a B+

Series as a whole, C+/B-

I liked it.  It wasn't phenomenal, but they gave me enough to enjoy and it was nice seeing Ewan as Obi-Wan again since he was easily the best part of the prequels.

I think they could have done more with it, but it was alright. It was cool to see the brief cameos of Ian McDiarmid and Liam Neeson (though Neeson wasn’t credited in the end, so wonder if that was all effects). Still some unanswered questions they could address in the future, though admittedly I know nothing of Star Wars canon outside the feature films and now the Disney+ series.

Nothing was learned, nothing was gained, at no point was anything of consequence in question. C-

If anything it may be the thing that got my 6 year old son into Star Wars. “Can we watch another movie with Obi Wan in it?” So it has that going for it.

Agreed. When Organa asked Ben to find Leia, I thought it would be part of the overall storyline, not the entire plot. And while it doesn't exactly conflict with her R2 message to him (8 years later) it seems strange that he would have rescued her, and when she later reaches out to him, there's no mention of "you may remember me..."

Another continuity fail. It didn't absolutely ruined the series, but it didn't help. It was all just empty fluff.

On the plus side, I do think Hayden Christianson redeemed his portrayal of Vader. That conversation after their fight, when half his mask was shredded, was pretty cool.

Racist trolls have a problem with Moses Ingram portraying the 3rd Sister because of course they do.  This stuff is pathetic, besides McGregor reprising his role as Obi Wan,  Ingram has probably had the 2nd best performance on the show so far.

I thought she did a great job. I completely bought in to her obsession with finding Ben.

I got the impression that this is meant to be a multiple season storyline. I know they said limited series and only did a few episodes, but seems like they left a LOT of real estate open between then and number 4, and they don't leave money laying on the table for anything.

Seems like this sets the table that Leia deals with him on and off her whole life, which is why the whole "help us Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're our only hope". There can't be much interaction with him and Luke though, cause he's always just crazy old Ben to him.

There's a whole lot left out there in between 3 and 4, just like there's a lot left out there between 6 and 7 with the Boba Fett/Mando shows.

I'm wondering if the Ashoka series doesn't come into this timeline and make an appearance like Mando and Boba overlapped. Have her dealing with the Inquisitors and team up with Obi...but also really interesting that we know Ashoka is STILL around after the 6th movie, seeing that her hey day was really between 2 and 3.

I looked into the possibility of a second series (or more) Deborah Chow said it was meant to be a one off, and there are no plans to continue, "but who knows" and went on to say there are certainly other stories that could be told. Ewan and Hayden both said they're all in, if they want to continue the series.

Yeah, the whole part about Reva being out there in the wild, potentially still wanting to settle the score with Vader, while also knowing The Big Secret leaves a lot open.

I've long, long wondered how exactly it is that Vader went from having Luke in his sites during the big battle at the end of A New Hope, apparently thinking he was just another rebel pilot, to knowing exactly who he was from the start of Empire, but still not knowing about Leia.
