I mean. You can’t let something called Jose Trevino go 3-4 with a HR against you and expect to win.
This is sort of my point in the other thread on NYY....
the Orioles big day is from a guy the Rangers and Yankees released. The Yankees from their backup catcher.
Big Talent is great (I'll take it all day long), but the team with the best player over the last 11 years hasn't won a playoff series.
My only point remains, winning is more than just Talent.

Side note: listening to Trevino interviewed on YES after the game on MLB.TV....he may have some ties to the tragedy in Texas today. Holding back some tears, said we'd 'hear' later.

I’m sorry. Why is this nobody pitching in crucial spots?
The bullpen did work 11 innings two days ago. 3rd 11+ inning game in 5 days. Everybody’s probably gassed.

The BP has been worked very hard the last week. i was surprised to see Tate and Baker. I think both had pitched 5 times in 7 days and both threw 2 innings on Sunday. I may have gone 1 more inning with Akin, but that is probably nitpicking the moves.
