Impressive win today given what happened to Watkins to start the game. Loving the walk offs and the energy Adley is bringing to the team right now.

Palmer is right. They are able to grind and stay in games because the BP has been so solid. The BP as a whole is the biggest story so far 2 months into the season.

Rotation has also been competitive, pretty remarkable given Means injury.

Yeah I don't know how to pick between the rotation without Means and the pen. Both are difficult to believe even when seeing it.

Lopez, Bautista, Tate, Perez, Khrebiel, Akin, Baker all have good "stuff"... not totally shocking that they've put together a pretty good bullpen.

Went to dinner with friends, and we spent as lot of time looking into the bar watching the game. People made a lot of noise when Hays came through. I asked the owner, how long has it been since the place had that reaction. His answer not since he opened back up since Covid.
They are showing miles and miles of heart, We have had spurts before, but for the first time in a while, the light at the end of the tunnel, may not be an oncoming train.

My concern is they are really being ridden hard.

That's the way baseball is trending. Shorter outings for SPs, even when they're effective.
I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

True, but starters are stretched out now and are starting to go longer. Hopefully Lyles can give them at least 6 tonight.
Watkins getting knocked out yesterday really wore them out.
I suspect he goes on the IL today and maybe Baumann gets sent back to get them a few fresh arms.
