I thought we’d lose him in the Rule 5, ha.
He really turned it around this year after being bad at AAA last year (both pretty small samples of course). Good for him being an 18th rounder and grinding in the minors for years.

Got the W in his debut.
“Vespi was outstanding,” Baltimore manager Brandon Hyde said. “He threw a ton of strikes. He has the cutter and curveball and they got some bad swings on it. So, I'm happy for him and his debut to get the win in extra innings.”

For the most part he has pitched well, but he is stuck on the shuttle.

Had some crazy reverse splits heading into today. Thats pretty surprising to me. Righties were under .200. Lefties were like .350.

New CBA rule: Per Zach Silver if he is recalled he can't be optioned again this year, he has to go through waivers. Only get 5 options per year now. I thought that was interesting.
