Wow, how the mighty have fallen. Gilbert was certainly a top 20 NBA player a few years back and now China.

Maybe he can bring his guns to work there.

It's a real shame about his injuries because when he was younger and healthy there may not have been a more fun player to watch in the league. That Wizards team that was in first place at the All-Star break had a real shot to be special. Oh well.

I actually think Gil will do OK in China. He has a quirky enough personality that living overseas may not be an issue for him.

The Gil/Antawn/Caron Wizards teams were my favorite teams ever. Always thought they had so much potential, given the overall lack of dominant team in the East, but eventually just could never get healthy at the same time. Then everything went to hell.
