How is Norby's defense?

Good enough. Nothing stands out too much +/-. He’s definitely a second baseman if he’s on the dirt.

Hes gotta stay on dirt. Good enough doesnt give me the warm and fuzzies. Guess its what limits his potential.

Well thats good. See he pitched in the summer league after his senior year. I guess it may have just been a standard position player pitching because it was only 3 innings. If not it makes me think he has a solid arm

There is a pretty good chance they renew that battle, over the second base job in the spring.  I think Westburg gets the first shot though.

Unless one of them is traded for a veteran arm or bat.

I agree that there will likely be a battle for 2b next spring. But just take that in, we have 2 guys, really 3 potentially with Ortiz, coming off terrific offensive seasons battling for the 2b job. 2b!! Not a spot you are traditionally looking for 20+ HRs
