OPS at Bowie is 1.059.....Cowser will be the guy next June that we will be asking for.  Elias will bring him up in September when he trades Mullins for 2 pitchers recovering from Tommy John surgery.

Norby and Westburg are middle infielders. They both have 20 HRs to lead our minors. Both legit prospects.

Oh, Joey Ortiz has 51 XBHs on the season. Also a legit middle inf prospect.

Hernaiz is a 21 yr old middle infield prospect with 36 XBHs and 30 SBs

Any reason for optimism for Baumann? Working on any new pitches? He had a 3.00 ERA in June, but followed it up with a 4.02 ERA in August (including tonight’s nice start by him). Three of his five starts in August were at pitcher friendly Harbor Park.

Actually yeah but as a multi-inning reliever.

He has a 3.47 FIP in AAA and has been getting a ton of ground balls. Velo is there, it’s all about command. He was cooking tonight.
