Saw this on Twitter and figured it'd be a fun discussion to have on here

Feel the big question here is how are we defining doors?

Does it have to be designed for humans to enter and exit or can be doors on something like a cabinet?

I have 12 doors in my house, but significantly more wheels (car, lawnmower, snowblower, multiple rolling chairs, the treamill has wheels, my Lego Batmobile).  I'd say a door is a means of entry or exit, so I'd exclude cabinets.

Surely there are more wheels cause it's easier to accrue wheeled objects.

I'll say more doors.

And I'm counting things like cabinet doors, closet doors, car doors, refrigerator doors, etc.

By the way I love this question. Reminds me of "Fermi questions" which are all about trying to quickly estimate unknowable numbers.

What percentage of people have a lawnmower, a snowblower and a treadmill in their home though? My house is 0-for-3 there and I'd imagine lots of other people are also 0-for-3, especially when you consider everyone who lives in an apartment or other housing where you don't need to worry about a lawn

Not to mention schools and office buildings.

Then again, in those buildings you have lots of chairs with wheels.

Do the doors to Hot Wheels count? Because if so my house is up to about 600 doors and 1000 wheels.

That was gonna be my counterpoint.  One kid into Hot Wheels are you have a big lead on wheels over doors since most don't have working doors.

I don't think you can exclude cabinets. The parts that open are called " cabinet doors".

I keep flip flopping on the OP's question though. The answers that people are posting are really good.

In my day ( When they first came out) they didn't. I think Matchbox ( which I never card for BTW) cars had doors that opened.

Here's the thing though. A LOT of my cabinet doors have wheels in them. Each of my sliding closet doors has at least 4 wheels as part of them.

That makes me lean VERY heavy on wheels.

Originally thought doors. But I think wheels is the fairly clear answer.

Great point.

Not only are you making a great argument for wheels, it sounds like you have some very nice cabinets.

This is a huge point imo. There's a ton of very large office buildings and schools with a lot of doors in them. But a lot of these rooms have chairs with like 5 wheels on them. Then again, if cabinet doors count, my classroom is like 18 doors to 5 wheels.

If they're French, then it's deux.
