Just saw some videos of the pep band playing Rock and Roll Part 2 at the game for the first time in what has to be over a decade after Debbie Yow banned it.

The students seemed to catch on pretty quickly and did their part.

EDIT: First time in 18 years. Big development.

Bring back the newspapers.

Those have become more difficult since The Diamondback stopped printing paper copies. Pretty sure the Athletic Department has been printing single sheets for some games and putting them on seats, though.

One of my favorite parts of being president of The Pride was getting into the arena the night before games and lining the student section with newspaper.

Said it a few games back, the results havent been there but I respect the way Manning generally has the team playing and the increased tempo. He's not coaching scared like his predecessor.

I think we are starting to see Manning's style come out.  Last night, the tempo was much faster. they played some zone and did well with it, and they actually created turnovers off a press.

I have enjoyed watching the last few games.

The team could have packed it in, after getting crushed by Iowa, but they have rallied and are playing pretty well.

The nice thing, about last night, was that everyone who played contributed some nice moments.

Scott and Wahab got Maryland started with some good inside scoring.  Both played well on the defensive end.

Reese, had a big 3 when Maryland really needed one and played well defensively when Maryland switched to the zone.

Hart and Martinez were good on the defensive end,  both had 4 steals.  Both had real nice driving layups off steals, that came at big times.

Ayala and Russell provided most of the second half scoring.

8 guys played and 8 contributed.
