Some weirdos on twitter think Hamlin is actually dead and it was a body double at the game Sunday lol.

Someone my wife works with legit said that the Covid vaccine caused him to collapse on the field. Vaccine weakens your immune system or something stupid like that. Cited "hundreds of thousands of youth sports deaths on the field" as a result of forced vaccines of those in team sports making you weaker.

My mother claims it's "millions." Every time any young person dies or suffers any cardiac issue she blames the vaccine.

I'd love to see a 49ers upset, but fear it'll be a three score Eagles win.  Good chance Purdy's run hits a wall on this stage, on the road, etc.

 

Bengals-Chiefs I'm looking forward to ALMOST as much as I would be if the Ravens were playing in the AFC title game.  Hoping Mahomes has a big, big game.

Chris Jones should play a big role on this game. I expect him to take advantage of a banged up Bengals line in a way the Bills couldn't. I don't see the Bengals controlling the LOS the way they did against Buffalo.

 

Hopefully Hurts and Purdy show off some fireworks like their Iowa State-Oklahoma showdown in college.

SF starts the 2nd Quarter down 7-0, and without Purdy.

The NFL has to do something to improve the use of replay. There was a clear question whether that was a clean catch to my eyes before the next snap. So much of the narrative in these situations depends on whether the broadcast crew pays enough attention in real time to make it an issue. The upstairs booth HAS to call down and stop the play to take a better look.

We'll see where this game goes (Philly still has the upper hand, healthy all pro QB and at home)... but consider that with Purdy out, and a not very good backup QB forced in to action... the 49ers are trying to get the ball in their best RB / offensive weapons hands a lot.

If only they had Roman, he'd probably pull McCaffrey and Samuel off the field in this situation... go with flea flickers thrown by Jusczyk (?) to Josh Johnson as a receiver...
