Their 87 points scored is a season high in a regulation game!

That’s one way to ensure Fran doesn’t have a meltdown.

Yuck. Total implosion/individual efforts at this point. Probably the worst defensive effort I’ve ever seen.

Second most points allowed in Maryland history. And it was to Iowa. At home.

At least there's no worry that we could get stuck with Danny Manning as permanent HC.

Wow. You know what was #1? We knew it had to be the record or close to it

No, the Baltimore Sun pay walled me. I’m curious too. I can’t recall it off the top of my head.

They allowed 114 points to North Carolina in 1991.

It was a fun, exciting tempo at least!

I think it was actually NC State.  Led by Tom Gugliotta.

I thought it was sad.   I have been defending the players for most of the year, but the lack of effort by some last night, especially defensively was very disappointing.  IMO the worst offender, was one of my favorite players on the team.  Damn Ayala at least get in the same zip code as Bohannon and get your damn hand up.

Fatts Russell seems to agree.

“For us, it’s more of an effort thing,” said graduate transfer Fatts Russell, who scored a team-high 20 points and eclipsed 1,900 career points and 500 career assists. “We just got to give 100% for the whole game. We can’t keep talking about it.”

You’re right, The Sun reported it wrong.

Well, at least this ends Beaner's "awkward problem"...

The Steve Francis team won a game 132-57.  That was insane.  Bot the 132 points scored and the 75 point margin of victory!

Just whisper “Jeter” into his ear and he will be fine.
