I think they are legit TBH. But am tired of getting fooled by that conference all the time. Feel like the powers that be prop them up in polling every year.
Strong offense. Strong run defense.
Beating Washington and Utah says they are pretty good.
Feel like the Pac 12 is deeper this year with solid teams than it has been for the last 5 years or so.

I don't think they have any great teams. But think they have 5 true Top 25 teams.

We'll see at the end of the season, but Washington dropping one at Arizona State is pretty bad.
It also stinks for the conference that their two best teams are on their way out soon.

I'm convinced 4 more are leaving and the Pac 12 won't exist soon.

Part of the Pac-12s problem is the networks sticking them on in the wee hours of Sunday morning ET. The Oregon State-Stanford game had the wildest finish of the day, but 3/4 of the country was probably asleep for it. It even ended after 11pm here on the West Coast.

This Alabama-Texas A&M game has turned out to be much more competitive than I expected.
That was a pathetic play call by Fisher at the end. Gave his team no chance.

It won’t happen until the end of the decade, but it will probably happen.

Thanks for the heads up, just watched it, that was awesome. Although judging by the crowd, I’d say about as many people saw it live at the stadium as did on TV lol.

Practically the whole second half the TV cameras showed shots of families there with kids who were falling asleep. As much as people don't like having to stay up for those games on TV, those who go to the games hate it even more. It was also Stanford, who was 1-3 going into the game, and the library was probably more crowded than the student section.

Raise your hand if you had James Madison cracking the Top 25 at some point in their inaugural FBS season.
(anyone with their hand raised is a liar)
Also noteworthy, last week Kansas ended the longest active AP Top 25 drought of any Power 5 team. The next longest drought then belonged to Illinois. That ended today.
The current longest drought is now Rutgers, who were last ranked on Nov 18, 2012. I think that steak will survive the rest of this season.
