We will likely be underdogs in all our remaining games other than maybe the Steelers game.

Yeah I think you are right.  The Ravens circle the wagons as well as anyone, but I fear we are fast running out of wagons.

If they get to 10 wins they're most likely in the playoffs. Hell if they somehow beat CIN and one other team, they probably win the division.

The Bengals seem just as likely as anybody at just completely laying an egg, never know what you’re getting. Unfortunately we have them away.

Had typed out the scenario where the Ravens could fall to #7 in the playoff seedings, but accidentally hit back and lost it.

Long story short, Loss + Wins by KC, CIN, LAC, BUF: BAL loses division lead, and tiebreakers all the way down to #7.

Loss + KC loss + Wins by CIN, LAC, BUF: BAL falls to #6, KC to #7.

Win+ TEN win: Stay at #3.

Win + TEN loss: Move up to #2. Share 9-4 record with #1 NE, who would own tiebreaker with 7-1 AFC record. BAL (with win) 6-4.

You can play with this all day and put in every NFL game from now until the end of the season and see what comes up.  I had scenarios where the Ravens were in at 9-8, and out at 10-7.  But those are the extremes.  Most likely 2 wins gets the Ravens in, 1 win and they likely are out.

Updated depth chart and injury report. A lot less guys questionable, but the IR list has grown to the point I can fit the playoff standings in the empty space.

Keeping up with the depth chart is just getting sad at this point.

Logic probably points to a Cleveland win, but give me the Ravens.

Browns gonna Brown.

Will say I think its pretty much a must win for the Ravens. And I expect today to be telling.

Win today, and I think they'll find another win or two and make the playoffs.

Lose today, and they might lose out.

They almost certainly have to run the ball a lot today to really have a chance. Not even all that well, but the quantity needs to be there. And in a variety of ways. WR end arounds, FB inside gives, a little RPO, misdirection pitch, etc. Better chance of making a few big plays in the passing game if the Browns defense is drawn in to caring about the run. So... Will Roman manage to stick with it, and will Harbaugh enforce the scheme?

Cleveland really has every advantage here. They're healthier. Because of that, they're better on paper currently. They just played us 2 weeks ago. They're coming off of a bye. They're playing at the Factory of Sadness. They really should win....Which means they probably lose.

I'm thinking about betting heavy on Cleveland, just to guarantee a terrible loss for them.

We've got Lamar. They've got Baker. Huge advantage for Ravens. Not if Lamar plays like recent weeks but that is an anomaly for him whereas that level is the expectation for Baker.

Can't say I'm expecting a win. An ugly game down to the end is what I think happens. Hopefully ends up in Ravens direction.

I expect Baker to have a better / good game today. Bye week, at home, vs depleted secondary. Season basically all or nothing today for them.

Roman's gotta run the ball a lot, hit some play action, etc.

I see little reason to expect Baker to be good. He's injured and ineffective. If he starts poorly the boos will follow immediately and who knows how he reacts to that. Possible he plays well, but not what I'd expect.

I don’t expect much from an injured Baker. He could certainly surprise.

The Ravens ran over 40 times two weeks ago, so they know how if it’s needed. But as usual the game will likely be decided by Lamar, whether he plays like he has lately or comes back to normal some.

Stopping the run is one thing the Ravens have been good at so that matches up well with the Browns if that keeps up. I am worried about the secondary.

I expect the Browns to run the ball more than last time, but I also expect Mayfield will be a little better than he was as well.  How can he not be better?  The Ravens are starting a preseason type secondary.  I don't think Mayfield has a 400 yard passing game, but he will hit some plays just because of how bad the Ravens secondary is probably going to be.

Feeling less positive about finding a way today.

Not sure how we can reasonably pass block against them.

Smith and Ricard are head scratchers. Maybe Roman is going to try to go with more of a spread look to counter the blitzes ? Or was Ricard banged up?
