Chris Collins is in his ninth season as Northwestern's head coach, and hasn't led his team to a winning record since 2016-17.

Maryland 162 tempo, NW 232. This one should be exciting.

Feel like if Manning has any awareness and desire to endear himself to the fans, he'll push tempo aggressively and get Wahab and Reese on the floor together at times. Perhaps even start? I can only guess if those things improve the Terps chances of winning, I sincerely doubt that they would reduce the Terps effectiveness, but it's what everyone wants to see. So just do it.
How do we measure if they're playing with more tempo besides just eye test? I can find the season-long tempo rankings and some possessions per game stats, but can't seem to find anything broken down by game. Terps are 152nd in adjusted tempo from KenPom and averaging 71 offensive possessions per game right now.

Northwestern's tempo rating is really low but they score a decent amount of points. 72, 73, 78, 80, 82, 83, 95. Over 80 PPG.
Terps have failed to get to 60 in each of their past two losses. Only two games over 71 points (83 vs Quinnipiac and 86 vs Richmond). 71 PPG.

I'll be looking to see if they get more FG Attempts.
They had 52 vs. Louisville (8 less than the Cardinals).
They had 55 vs. VaTech (5 less than the Hokies).
They had 57 vs. Richmond (8 less than the Spiders).
They had 55 vs. George Mason (3 less than the Patriots).

FGA speaks as much to offensive rebounding and turnovers as it does tempo though. Turnovers will go up with tempo, but not sure that Manning can really be expected to improve the offensive rebounding via coaching strategy. Well I guess they could all crash like WVU does, which then leads to more transition opportunities for your opponents and more tempo.
Is total possessions in a box score anywhere? It's not in the standard ones.
