George Washington #219 in KenPom. That’ll improve.

They've cracked the top 200 on KenPom, coming in at #199 after their showing in College Park last night, haha.

 

Seriously though, they looked pretty decent. Very sloppy play by Maryland, defense needs to sure up the paint for sure, but that's just early season communication and teamwork. Lot of new pieces, second game together. 

 

Vermont is a real test Saturday. They're #95 in KenPom and beat #143 Northern Iowa in their gym handily last night. I said the other day to Randall that I wasn't too worried about them because they aren't efficient offensively or defensively, but they do seem to play well together. Hopefully Maryland plays better. I'll likely be there.

1st game I’ve seen. Sub par opponent. But really like Russell and Wahab. Love to have a PG who can defend, and finish at the rim. Wahab looks strong enough to play the physical Big Ten style. Dunk at the end of the half was pretty, and I think dunks are pretty overrated.
