After beating Quinnipiac on Tuesday night, Maryland has a quick turnaround before playing George Washington on Thursday. The Colonials won their season opener against Saint Francis, 75-72. Their roster features former Terps forward Ricky Lindo, Jr., who scored 17 points in 26 minutes and had 9 rebounds in their first game. They're led by head coach Jamion Christian, who's in his third season after spending eight seasons as the head coach at Mount St. Mary's and Siena.

Ricky Lindo!

 

He didn't play much last year but he played really well when he did. I was bummed when he transferred, always liked how hard he played.  Turgeon seemed to bury him during his sophomore season for reasons I could never figure out, I thought he was better than guys ahead of him.

Agree on Lindo, loved his game and length/athleticism combo.  Should've been given more run here IMO.

They could have really used Lindo last year.  Maybe he did not want to play the 5 or maybe he decided not to give Turgeon another chance to stuff him down the end of the bench.
