Did this for Twitter and am now posting it here. Of these nine, which three do you think would work the best together to win a national title? Melo/Stix/Layman is my vote.

I'd have Huerter and Fernando.... and then I'm conflicted.
Do I want a PG?
Do I want Morsell's defense?
Would I rather have Wiggins over the PGs?

I'm finding this to be nearly impossible. All of those players bring some good things to the table but then also have some shortcomings.
I still think Huerter was terribly underutilized here, so I'll take him because I think he's a lot more than what we was allowed to be here.
I'd want a big - I think I'd prefer Fernando over Smith, but could really go either way there.
And then I think I'd take Melo. I thought he lost some effectiveness once the refs stopped letting him buy fouls, but he was still solid at the point.
So I'd go Huerter/Fernando/Trimble, and not feel all that great about it haha.

Melo, Bruno, and Sticks
Those three and Cowan are a step above the rest of the guys, IMO, so I'd choose as many of them as I can. Would rather have two bigs than two PG, and Melo's the best of the bunch so Cowan misses out.

Yeah I'd take Len over Bruno if he was here. More about Len being less similar to Sticks than Bruno is, so you'd have a better 4/5 combo with different skillsets, than about Len being outright better than Bruno.

Im pretty sure Huerter and Fernando are 2 of the 3 right answers. Curious why Len wasnt listed. He might have been the best big here
Didn't want to include someone with zero tournaments over people who made it multiple times

Think Id lean Cowan over Melo. Also would love to get Dez involved. Man was he a fun player
Dez was crazy athletic and nearly unstoppable in the open court, unfortunately I think the style the MD now plays really limited him. He wasn't a great shooter and that limited what he could do as a half court player.

Daryl Morsell would have to be on my team.
Every good team needs a Junk Yard Dog, and there are very better than Morsell.

My other two would be Huerter and Len

The most fun team would be Bruno, Morsell, and Dez. Just crazy-in-a-good-way personalities.

Len has also had the best pro career, with Huerter quickly closing in.
Sure but I figure the prompt of "win March Madness" allows for more variety in answers than "start an NBA team" lol
