Peters will never win any tackling awards but he made offenses conscious of him because of his ability to intercept. Not only do the Ravens rarely sack a quarterback but they'll probably finish the season in the bottom 5 for interceptions. Two major reasons they can't get off the field.
Teams know we cannot generate consistent pressure without blitzing. So their gameplans consist of quick passes to counter the blitz. Year prior with Peters, Humphrey and Smith, Wink ran press man, cover-0 blitzes, and killed teams. Now, he doesn't gave the CB's to win consistently at the LOS in press. When he doesn't have his ideal personnel, his scheme is very mediocre.
Belichick has spent his whole career in NE running a cover-0 press scheme. His best defenses always had great press-man CB's. He runs a very similar defensive scheme to what Wink likes to run. When the cover-0 scheme has the right pieces, it's dominant. When one cog fails, it can go downhill fast.

Whats the injury report for tonight? I assume Andrews is playing?
From Hensley about a day ago, no Andrews. I'm surprised Mekari has never been out, always questionable. If I recall neither of the doubtfuls practiced at all this week, Watkins did, the other two were limited:
Ravens injury report for Thursday's game at Dolphins
DOUBTFUL
RB Latavius Murray (ankle)
OL Patrick Mekari (ankle)
QUESTIONABLE
WR Sammy Watkins (hamstring)
TE Nick Boyle (knee)
NT Brandon Williams (shoulder)

As to this point, Jeff Z said the following last night, which is sorta promising, if not for this week for the future. The line is the key IMO.
I don’t take anything from doubtful label. He hasn’t practiced in 2 1/2 weeks so that is more telling than game designation. But no IR is probably good sign. I don’t think he’s too far away. When he got hurt, sounds like they were thinking 3-4 wks. So he’s getting there.

The name I am waiting on is Boyle.
Maybe, they give him another 10 days, but it would be a boost for the run game if he plays.

I agree, he helps the team a ton if really back. It'd be nice to at least give him some snaps tonight, not a full workload.

I didnt expect Boyle after he missed Sun
Westry activated for tonight. Tomlinson is also up, guess that means no Boyle yet.

I figured they didn’t want him to come back with 2 in 5 days and tonight was possible. Another 10 days can’t hurt I guess.

it is good to see Westry back. He may be able to help.
Carpenter and McKenzie elevated for tonight's game.

I think they are being cautious with Boyle.

As mentioned, Tomlinson and Westry activated means the Ravens have 53-men on the 53-man roster. Maybe they did for the Bengals game? But i don't recall them having 53 before elevations all year.
Carpenter and McKenzie elevated. McKenzie's last freebie.

Mekari
Murray
Proche (Healthy. Ugh)

Proche has shown great potential, but with Watkins and Bateman healthy and Duvernay leading the league in kick returns, he'd get virtually no field time anyway.

If you're a 6th round pick, have plenty of receivers to compete with and don't play special teams, this is what happens.

Proche does play special teams, just in the same role(s) as Duvernay unfortunately.
Guess it's a good problem when you have good players inactive every week.

I’m here in Miami for this one, crowd seems like at least 50% Ravens fans.
Not shocking considering some years back it appeared Ravens fans outnumbered Miami fans for a playoff game.
