Maryland opens their 2021-22 season at home on Tuesday night against Quinnipiac in the first regular season game since March 8, 2019 to feature fans in XFINITY Center. The Terps enter the year ranked #21 in the AP's preseason poll.
The Bobcats are beginning their fifth season under head coach Baker Dunleavy, the former Villanova guard and assistant coach, and son of longtime NBA head coach Mike Dunleavy, Sr. His team finished the 2020-21 season with a 9-13 (7-10 MAAC) record, and lost to Iona in the first round of the MAAC Tournament.
