Maryland opens their 2021-22 season at home on Tuesday night against Quinnipiac in the first regular season game since March 8, 2019 to feature fans in XFINITY Center. The Terps enter the year ranked #21 in the AP's preseason poll.

The Bobcats are beginning their fifth season under head coach Baker Dunleavy, the former Villanova guard and assistant coach, and son of longtime NBA head coach Mike Dunleavy, Sr. His team finished the 2020-21 season with a 9-13 (7-10 MAAC) record, and lost to Iona in the first round of the MAAC Tournament.

You can only watch this game with a subscription to the Big Ten Network+ streaming service. Access to conference-wide games starts at $14.95/month but you can purchase access to Maryland's games for $9.95/month. In addition to this matchup, Maryland's game against Vermont on November 13th will be broadcast exclusively on this service.

Thanks for the great info on BTN+, Zack. Very helpful.

Looking forward to tonight. Was going to go, but am on the back end of my first cold in a couple years and wouldn’t feel right given everything I now understand about respiratory droplets and what not.

Go Terps! So stoked for this season.

9-5 Maryland at the under-16. Some missed shots and early jitters on both ends of the court.

Fatts Russell is FAST, and he’s already shown it off multiple times in the first 6 minutes of this game.

In a league with a couple of great bigs...he is going to hold his own.

I was worried late Summer that Martinez wouldn't be ready. Awesome that he is ready to go.

Absolutely love what I’m seeing from Fatts Russell, Wahab, Scott, Ayala and Reese.

Even Martinez and Dziuba have flashed off the bench a bit.

What’s the deal with Graham III. Know he was a big recruit. How will he factor in this year?

He hasn’t even hit the shots he should have, first game rust. The moves and athleticism play. Doesn’t matter who against. But a fair point nevertheless. I’m buying in.

He’s still only 18 (and won’t turn 19 until June), but he’s definitely an under-the-radar breakout candidate this season. I’m really high on him, and he should get some solid minutes early in the year to show what he can do.
