After a disappointing loss to Minnesota last weekend, Maryland returns home to face Indiana on Saturday afternoon. The Hoosiers currently hold a record of 2-5 (0-4) and have lost three straight games to Michigan State, Ohio State, and Penn State. They have additional losses to Cincinnati and Iowa, with their wins coming against Idaho and Western Kentucky. Their quarterback situation is riddled with injuries, and they'll be turning to freshman Donaven McCulley against the Terrapins.

Maryland is currently favored by 5 points in this game.

Indiana Rush Offense: 113.3 ypg (#107 in country)

Indiana Pass Offense: 196.4 ypg (#99 in country)

Indiana Rush Defense: 134.3 yapg (#46 in country)

Indiana Pass Defense: 229.7 yapg (#69 in country)

Maryland Rush Offense: 128.0 ypg (#93 in country)

Maryland Pass Offense: 293.6 ypg (#18 in country)

Maryland Rush Defense: 154.9 yapg (#75 in country)

Maryland Pass Defense: 241.4 yapg (#88 in country)

Losing this game would be a fire-able offense.

Weird to be playing your Homecoming game the day before Halloween, but that's obviously due to how the schedule unfolded for them.

I look at it from more of a weather perspective. If you're MD, and already have a hard time filling your stadium, having homecoming later in the season just gives people one more potential reason not to show up. Obviously this year they had little choice, unless they wanted to do it against Kent St. Picking Michigan in November over Indiana in mid-October is stupid, and someone ought to have been fired for that one.

I mean, Maryland's surely going to beat this Indiana team at home, right?

The lines has moved down to 5.0, so I guess the late money is on the Hoosiers, FWIW.

It's a 50/50 game in my opinion. Maybe slight tilt to MD at home.

Indiana has had a brutal year, but they have talent. They'll have today circled as winnable.

MD again dealing with injuries and lack of confidence.

It's a game that MD absolutely needs to win, but could go either way.

As Zack said in his article, MD needs to get their ground game going. I like the RBs.  Block for them, and get that going, set up some play action.

Reese Taylor, one of Indiana’s top cornerbacks, won’t play in this game. As expected, quarterbacks Michael Penix, Jr. and Jack Tuttle are both out as well.

RB Peny Boone won’t be playing today, so it’ll be up to Tayon Fleet-Davis and Challen Faamatau.

Why is he out? What did I miss with Jacobs?
