We traded out at 36 and people were pissed because Jax got Jack. We took Correa at 42. Chris Jones, Xavian Howard, Derrick Henry, and Michael Thomas all went between 37 and 47.

In fairness to the Ravens, it did take Henry a couple of years to finally settle in as the main back but his potential was always top shelf. It's tough to find big backs like him with that kind of speed.  That's why I was actually excited after Dobbins went down.  Not losing him but the chance for Gus to show everyone that he could be the Ravens own Derrick Henry.

Its def hindsight and a bit disingenuous to look back and say we couldve/shouldve drafted so and so. Man is it fun watching huge backs that have speed and power though. Would tune it to Giants games at times just to watch Brandon Jacobs. Not that Jacobs was ever as good as Henry but he was still fun to watch.

Earl Campbell was nothing short of a horror show for defenses back in the day.  Only 5'11" but 240 lbs. with legs like tree trunks and fast. Seeing him coming downhill was something that defensive backs dreaded every Sunday.  I don't know how old you are but if he was before your time, he was a true beast.

Christian Okoye was awesome for a brief time. 6-1 260, 4.45 40.

It's amazing what Henry's doing.  It's also amazing that he's not more hyped up.  He rushed for 2000 yards last season!  And it's like people only sort of think he's a stud.

It's the general disrespect towards rushing the football and of course RB's in the wake up the current version of the game which doesn't glorify those things. It's a passing and QB league.

Henry is to the Titans what Lamar is to the Ravens.

Dudes a megastar, but doesn't get marketed as such.

Havent played FF in 3 years but he had to be #1 pick the last 2 years no?

Not that that necessarily means everyone knows you are a stud.

He was #1 here and there by some, but not a consensus.

I'll put it to you this way - you ask a random fan that isn't into fantasy, who do they think the biggest stars in the NFL are - most of them won't even mention his name outside of the state of Tennessee.

Take out all the QBs. QBs are the faces of the league.

No, McCaffrey is #1.  Henry was right behind this year (with Dalvin Cook).  Last year he was clear 1st round but slightly further down as he was great but not otherworldly in 2019.  Most leagues are PPR now so even with the massive rushing totals he's not the top fantasy option because he doesn't catch passes.

Interesting that PPR is standard now. Was never a big fan.

Concensus top pick the past two years has been CMC. 2 from everything I saw was Cook. After that it was a crapshoot. Henry usually went around the 5th pick in most leagues, because PPR is pretty much standard now. On per game averages, CMC kills everyone when he plays. He has one of the highest per game points average ever. Unfortunately he's rarely on the field anymore.
