- What's the final record?

The Ravens are 8th overall by DVOA. 9th offense, 22nd defense, 2nd special teams.
Where do the offensive and defensive numbers end?

Have said it pretty much from the beginning. 10-7 or 11-6. Offense should finish top 10. Their effeciency on 3rd down concerns me along with the run game. Defense I want to believe they can get a bit better. Hoping they can move up if only into the 15-20 range.

My question for you guys is do you see any scenario where they kind of get stronger as the year progresses as they did the last few years. If so then maybe the can go 13-4 or 14-3. Tough to see that happening. I think itll be a grind all year. Which might be good for them come January.

Seems like we've seen offensive lines and defenses gel as the season goes on in the past, without any significant external additions.  So I do think those weaknesses can be improved upon.

Overall I think I gauge the team like you do, 10-7 or whatever I picked initially remains roughly the quality level I see even though they are outplaying that prediction so far record-wise.  Lamar means any game can be a victory.  The team's deficiencies also means that any game can be a loss.

Overall I think everyone obviously has to be pleased with the record.  And while the team doesn't look as good as that record, I don't think they are underachieving either considering all the injuries.  Getting to the playoffs will be a good result for this squad and that still seems well within reach.  Anything that happens in the playoffs is gravy.  The preseason (and Week 1) injuries completely changed the expectations for me, down from an AFC Championship (if not Super Bowl) or bust mentality like I had last season.

Hopefully, the defense will start to improve as we go into the colder months.  I thought they were headed in the right direction in the victories over the Lions and Broncos but last week badly exposed their weaknesses, especially tackling.  Unlike 2019, I think every game is going to be a grind, even against the lousy teams.  As Mackus mentioned, the injuries just ravaged this team and for them to be 4-1 is nothing short of miraculous.  You would think 2-3 at best.  There's some things I've never liked about John Harbaugh but give him credit- he's kept this team believing in themselves.  I keep waiting for the inevitable to happen and have a team like the Chargers come into M&T and blow them off the field but so far, they've remained resilient and have the great equalizer in Lamar Jackson.  His health is really what keeps this season from being potentially surprising in a good way and from being a disaster.  As long as he's behind center, they'll always have a chance.
