My mom dropped off a bunch of coins. Some handed down to her, some from foreign countries shes come across. Asked me to search the web and see if anything was worth anything.
I learned a little about the different mints in the US, nothing my mom has seems valuable to sell to collectors. A lot of it well circulated.
My main question is she has some Mexican Peso coins that are large. A couple $500 pesos, A $1000 peso coin. Exchange rate for $1000 pesos = $49.05 USD. But if you go on ebay you can buy a $1000 peso coin for $10 USD. What am I missing here?
