I think in big games against really talented opponents (KC, LAC), it could be important to punch up the run game by putting the ball in Lamar's hands more. That's what made the difference running vs KC. But I'd be wary of leaning on it too heavily. I've never been one to worry about Lamar's health, but this is a completely different version of the run game with this team, and I think Lamar is taking more hits because defenses aren't respecting the backs whatsoever.
He's already putting the offense on his back every game, so I'm concerned that making him the focal point even more than he already is could be asking for trouble.
The Ravens are having tremendous success passing on early downs, so I'd like to see that continue, especially off play action. Getting into 3rd and longs because they run the ball twice for net two yards is when they seem to struggle early in games.
