Taulia has to hit Darryl Jones for the easy TD earlier on that drive. Also looked like Jones held up at the top of the route, not sure if that affected it. If you want to compete in games like this, you have to make the layups like that.

Yeah, I don't want to overreact, but it seems clear to me this situation is way too big for them. In their heads. OSU isn't even that good IMO.

The defense was never going to be able to hang with Ohio State’s offense (very few defenses in the country can, even when healthy). This game is about the offense putting together some drives against a relatively average Buckeyes defense.

This is going to be a long day. They're literally not even covering the Ohio St. Reveivers. Zone, WIDE open every completion. Like 5+ yards, not sure I've ever seen 3 consecutive passes to people so damn open before.

Like I said earlier, most defenses in the country can’t hang with Ohio State’s passing game. But missing 2 starting corners makes it even more difficult for Maryland. They have no choice but to play two-high zone 90% of the time, so you’re basically playing a bend-don’t-break.

Yeah, I need to stop my bitching. This is one of those times where there's literally nothing they can do about it anyway. It just sucks. Never seen an easier 4th & 2 decision. When you can pass it with nearly 100% efficiency, it's a no brainer.

There were positives to be taken from that drive. The run defense looked fantastic, and I loved that play near the goal line on second down by Coley. Just great instincts by a freshman.

The real story is going to be the offense, and can they put together enough drives and play clean enough to build some confidence heading into the bye?

This is a different roster obviously lol but when they almost won in 2018 it was a shootout so even the best case scenario for OSU doesn't really include stopping them very often
