Pretty cool article.

Can't believe the movie is 30 years old. The SFX still hold up extremely well. They just don't make movies like this anymore.

The only annoying part of the movie is how bad the kid is.  Everything else is peak James Cameron.

30th anniversary of its release today. One of my favorite movies of all time. Probably the movie I've seen the most in my life. Easily my favorite franchise, though some of the movies are not good.

I wanted to like Dark Fate so much more since it had Cameron's name on it, but it just seemed lazy. They only delayed judgement day. Machines still take over but it isn't called Skynet anymore. Another child/future savior that needs protecting. Total missed opportunity by making "Carl" an interior decorator and not an exterminator (Ex-terminator. Get it?)

I feel like there is a giant story to tell, and Cameron mentions the arc in that article NMS posted, between the events of 1 and 2. Should be a Netflix series. Sarah on the run from the authorities. Meeting Enrique in Mexico. Military weapons training. Giving birth to John. Raising him to be this super advanced 10-year old we see in T2 with computer hacking skills, expert level evasive dirt bike riding, leadership ability. Sarah getting caught, placed in the psych ward. Literally a Terminator story without Terminators, other than in her dreams.

The Sarah Conner Chronicles TV show was fine, but still tried to be cute. Make a dark, gritty, slow burn show that isn't cute. If the Breaking Bad universe can exist through Better Call Saul without Walter White, the Terminator universe can exist through a study on Sarah and John without Terminators.

I so much wanted The Sarah Conner Chronicles to be good. Well, the same can be said of Disney's control of the Star Wars franchise.

This movie is amazing.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

He’s not even that bad IMO.
